Origins, present and future

The first LIZARRAN opened in Sitges, Barcelona, in 1988, offering the best of pincho-based traditional cuisine. After almost 25 years, LIZARRAN has consolidated itself as Spain and the world’s leading Tapas Bar brand.

At LIZARRAN we are famous for our pinchos, tapas, platters and beers, but also for our atmosphere. Lizarran is a taste of the best of Spanish tradition. We stand apart from the rest by presenting and offering a unique product in a fun, original manner.

A new development in the bar concept, using only high-quality produce and with two star offerings: pinchos and beer. A unique formula that has allowed us to open over 250 properties in more than 15 countries worldwide. And all made possible thanks to our franchisees, who have supported us and believed in the brand from the beginning.

More than pinchos

We love our pinchos, but we also love our people. Since 2013, LIZARRAN has allied with Coca-Cola and the Solventia Foundation to support the Hoy por ti, mañana por mí programme, offering disadvantaged kids training in the culinary and catering arts.

Over three months, students receive classes at our Bar School, where they learn the LIZARRAN system and get hands-on experience of the trade.

This training opens up a world of job opportunities, including many at LIZARRAN franchises.

A unique opportunity to learn the trade and work alongside bar and kitchen professionals and dealing with customers directly.

Our Bar School, located at Padre San Damián, 42, is the absolute pride of our brand.
